The Solution
The solution combines occupancy detection with automatic AC control.
It uses two devices:
- Occupancy Sensor
- IR Air Conditioner Controller
Radar Presence Sensor – Detects whether the room is occupied, even when a guest is sitting still or sleeping.
The automation runs locally and continues to work even if the internet connection is unavailable.
Local Automation – Guest room automation continues to operate locally. Cloud-based features such as remote management or scheduled services may require network connectivity.
The Result
When the room is empty, the AC should know it.
The system automatically stops unnecessary cooling, helping reduce energy waste without affecting guest comfort.
